We have been so busy with our product R+D lately that our heads are spinning. And with our Better Fresh Farms mushroom growing facility up and running, we have already created, tested, produced and packaged our first mushroom product! Our Dried Lion's Mane Mushrooms are available for purchase on the Better Fresh farms website. They are nutritious, delicious, and circular, with our substrate blocks made of local farm waste, and our spent substrate sent back to the soil!! We are so thrilled to be a participant in the #Bigfoodredesignchallenge, an intitiative supported by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, HowGood and Sustainable Food Trust! Two of our products featured during #climateweeknyc have been a part of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation's #bigfoodredesignchallenge and will be featured at #RegenHouse. These two products are the result of 2 years of work we've been doing in Metter, GA to create a #circulareconomy for farm residuals by creating blends of mushroom substrate from ag waste. It's been a long process of partnership and experimentation, but the work is picking up speed, and our sister company #Betterfreshfarms is at the heart of everything we do!
