Twitch approached 365 Connect to design an #employee #volunteer event as part of their #2024 #Conference in #SanDiego as a way to give back to the community. Team 365 worked with San Diego Unified School District's Marshall Elementary principal to identify site needs, organized 100+ volunteers into work teams, provided all materials and supplies needed, and designed #murals that reflect the student population. The Pulmonary Hypertension Association's #2024 #Conference organizers contacted 365 Connect to set up a 2-hour project in the JW Marriott's ballroom to invite participants to work together to give back to the local #community. 365 Connect identified the?#nonprofit?partner, Ronald McDonald House Charities at Riley Children's Hospital, sourced supplies to make stuffed animals with personalized notes, sent 365 Team members to run the event, and transported the finished product directly to the Ronald McDonald House. More than 200 attendees participated and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive! They loved working on a project alongside other attendees, felt amazing about the project for the families and organization, and would love to have similar giving-back projects at future conferences! 365 Connect, in partnership with Team Depot, The Home Depot’s employee volunteer force, created a one-day project benefiting Hope Family Housing, a transitional housing community of Orange County Rescue Mission that serves formerly #homeless families.? Team Depot built new fencing around the play area to create a safer and more secure environment for these children and their families.
