34 Ave Open Streets was founded in May of 2020 to run and operate 26 blocks of Open Streets in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York. The 34 Ave Open Streets Coalition is the official partner of NYC Department of Transportation. The coalition has a lengthy list of partners that enable us to offer year round programming, exercise, art, dance, and language classes along the corridor as well as offering many types of resources to the community. We also host and facilitate a wide range of cultural celebrations.
