300 Heroes Kids is an 8-week empowerment series that will be held in person with children ages 11-17 directly impacted by parental incarceration and the foster system. The focus of this group is to create a supportive community where kids feel SEEN, valued and cherished. Each session includes group discussions, activities & 1on1 mentor time facilitated my professional life coaches and therapist ???? 300 Letters was not approved for specific funding for this program but we are making it happen with our communities support!

Our quarterly wellness events raise funds for family therapy, personal development, resources & financial assistance for child care & extracurricular services. Family therapy is crucial for families impacted by incarceration as they provide essential emotional support, help rebuild trust, and address the trauma associated with separation. These sessions promote healthier family dynamics and aid in the healing process? With over 2.3 million people incarcerated in the U.S. & over 15,000 children in Miami Dade with an incarcerated parent, we’re committed to fostering resilience and healing in our communities.
