Plan your content in advance to maintain consistency and relevance. Today is #EqualPayDay. It's not something we are "celebrating" per-say, but more so highlighting. You know, for educational purposes ?? Did you know this date symbolizes how far into the year women must work to earn what men earned in the previous year? Equal Pay Day was created by the National Committee on Pay Equity (NCPE) in 1996 as a public awareness event to illustrate the gap between men's and women's wages. And clearly those gaps still exist today, especially in athletics. So how does this impact our work? Women's athletics is already faced with a lack of investment, resources, promotions, you name it - all factors feeding into the pay gap. We're working with companies to be as efficient as possible in optimizing what's already at their disposal, to then lay the foundation for sustainable growth moving forward.
