From warehouse managers to truck drivers, from procurement specialists to supply chain analysts, women are making their mark in every aspect of the logistics industry. Their dedication, skill, and innovation are essential to the efficient movement of goods around the world. However, it's also important to recognize that women in logistics continue to face challenges such as gender bias, unequal pay, and lack of representation in leadership positions. Women's History Month serves as a reminder of the progress that has been made towards gender equality in the logistics sector, but also as a call to action to continue striving for greater inclusivity and opportunities for women in this field. The Final Mile Forum 2024 with Customized Logistics and Delivery Association (CLDA) has unfortunately come to an end and although we are left sad and anxiously awaiting the next one— we are leaving with nothing but excitement for what’s to come and with more knowledge than we walked in with especially when it comes to this ever changing industry.
