What an amazing Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade & Breakfast this year! We were so proud to welcome hundreds of first responder families to our 23rd annual event at Bryant Park Grill, giving them a front-row seat to one of the most iconic holiday traditions. This event is all about bringing comfort and joy to families of heroes, offering a moment of connection and celebration during a season that can be difficult for those who suffered loss. This holiday season, Fox News Media employees have been hard at work as Santa’s helpers, wrapping over 2,000 gifts for the children of first responders who tragically lost a parent in the line of duty this year. These special presents will be delivered as part of our Toy Express Program to bring comfort and joy to the children who need it most. But the magic doesn’t stop there! Sharon Price John, CEO of Build-A-Bear Workshop & Kerry R. Watson, Jr., EVP, Public Affairs for Baltimore Orioles kicked off the 2024 FRCF Scholar Speak Panel series, giving our students the opportunity to learn from two incredible business leaders. This wasn’t just a panel—it was a chance to ask questions, gain advice, and be inspired. FRCF scholarships are not just financial support—they’re the foundation of a lifelong network filled with opportunities for growth, learning, and connection. Events like this are just one way we aim to support our scholars on their journey to success.

Our Youth Innovation Quest with Slalom has NYC kids teaming up with the New York City Police Department to solve real city challenges using cool tech and creative thinking. It’s an eleven week STEM competition that builds trust and stronger connections between first responders and the youth in the communities they serve! Huge shoutout to Slalom Consulting, John Tomik, and the NYPD for helping us inspire the next wave of changemakers!

While many of us gather with loved ones this Thanksgiving, first responders are serving our communities, responding to kitchen fires (a 400% spike!), traffic accidents, and saving lives. For 23 years, we’ve honored their dedication by hosting first responder families—many who’ve faced unimaginable loss—at our special Thanksgiving Celebration.
