We see the impact that community makes every day. #community #agingtogether #endloneliness
I can’t stop thinking about Gene Hackman’s passing. Yes, he was 95, and despite being one of the greatest “everyman” actors of our time, he intentionally chose a quiet, somewhat isolated life with his wife of more than 30 years as his sole caregiver. But the thought of him spending over a week confused and alone in his home before passing is something I can’t shake. No one should be alone. It’s a stark reminder of the importance of community. What if a neighbor had checked in on him? The outcome may not have changed, but he wouldn’t have been entirely alone. A strong community means looking out for one another—ensuring no one is left to navigate aging in isolation. Sometimes, being a good neighbor is as simple as a shared conversation, a quick visit, or a small gesture that reminds someone they’re not forgotten. At Naborforce, we see the profound impact of these small acts every day. Let’s take this as a reminder to check in, reach out and be there for the people around us. #community #agingwithdiginity #beagoodneighbor #agetech
