At a certain point we will all hear the roar. There's a huge shift coming towards the financial and business worlds with women coming into control of tens of trillions of assets in the next few years; and that's just to start. Barriers to entry and a funding gap that's more than a canyon make the entrepreneurial path very challenging. But with the wealth landscape changing, and the proven outperformance of female founders, this actually seems like an incredibly blue ocean to me. Some strategies to follow: * Controling Your Narrative - Tell your story, connect it to an unbeatable mission and vision. How are you going to solve the problem you set out to solve? * Building Relationships and Community - The network can be everything - dig the well before you are thirsty and be a giver. * Learning and Growing - Staying sharp, ear to the ground, listening to the markets and customers, keeps you locked in while being able to pivot and be agile. The resiliency that I have seen in the startup ecosystem, from founders and investors, is really incredible. There's so many women building incredible businesses, communities, portfolios. Supporting them is a no-brainer. Every step forward is a win. And a win for some doesn't have to be seen as a loss to anyone else; in fact it grows the pie of opportunity for everyone. Sometimes there are steps back along the way, that's life. The key is what we do when the setbacks occur. How can we make sure we are keeping it moving forward? Who are you supporting? And, just as (maybe more) important; who is supporting you?
