1Climate is now part of Distill Energy! 1Climate is building an end-to-end platform that streamlines and automates each step of clean energy project development, from origination to project commissioning. By focusing first on simplifying permitting, interconnection, and incentive filing processes, we will be the single source of truth coordinating across many internal and external stakeholders. Developers will be able to pre-qualify projects in minutes instead of weeks, seamlessly import data between existing software tools, and connect to marketplaces to hire contractors or monetize tax credits. With frequently updated nationwide regulatory coverage, developers can de-risk their projects, expand into new markets, and deploy clean energy more efficiently.

By joining forces, we’re confident that this new partnership will carry on 1Climate’s mission of accelerating clean energy deployment by streamlining permitting and project development. Big thanks to everyone who has given us their time, feedback, and support to build up 1Climate over the past 2 years. We’re especially grateful for our investors and our partners at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), StartX, Village Capital, and the Harvard Innovation Labs. We had a great time at RE+ this week pitching clean energy permitting and siting solutions to the Under Secretary of Energy and other top DOE officials!
