1819 Innovation Hub

The University of Cincinnati, with support from the THE DUKE ENERGY FOUNDATION, and led by Ralph Brueggemann, adjunct professor at University of Cincinnati - College of Engineering and Applied Science has planted a "Tiny Forest" as part of a sustainability initiative aimed at combating climate change. ?? We recently celebrated their ribbon-cutting on one very stormy afternoon. It was a fitting experience. This project integrates students and researchers to develop small-scale ecosystems that sequester #carbon and promote #biodiversity. At the UC 1819 Innovation Hub, this provisional patent is managed under Geoffrey Pinski, Assistant Vice President of the UC Technology Transfer office. The initiative received $10,000 in funding to foster environmental stewardship and community engagement.
