Thank you to all of our partner schools for welcoming us into your communities. Our work hinges on learning from the historical relationships and cultures that are unique to each of our schools. Only through this collaboration are we able to best serve students as they discover and pursue their own postsecondary path. We are immensely grateful for our supporters and allies who make this possible!
In all my years in the classroom, and working in schools, I have seen so many programs and non profits that work as partners, but rarely can you see the immediate impact they have on students. This year, our school admin has hit a home run by partnering with 12+, an outstanding, dedicated, well connected and passionate organization that provides a team of in school professionals and mentor our students, as well as helping them create a vision and plan of their futures. 12 plus does case management on the front lines, which is rare. They create a welcoming space for students, strong relationships, and really collaborate with others. I can say, because of their work at Mastbaum, we have been able to create more work based learning partnerships, internships, and career connected and college learning then ever before! Lastly, I want to shoutout Anthony Singleton and his organization Educators4Education. This organization goes above and beyond mentoring our cities youth, providing paid career exposure opportunities, paid internships, and life skills such as drivers education. I have been able to call them and say "hey, I have a kid who is really off track and needs..", and E4E takes the kids in quickly, does home visits with parents to sign them up, and gets the kids on track. Recently, I had a young lady from our Auto program who needed a license so the city could hire her as a mechanic, and without any hesitation, Anthony and his organization made it happen. I can call and say "I have a kid who needs employment", and E4E makes it happen. We are blessed to live in a city, with such passionate, dedicated folks making a HUGE impact, but most have never heard about them. Please check out both organizations here in Philly!

? Education equity is a human right. ? This bold message shines brightly on I-76 East, not just as a statement, but as a symbol of who we are and what we stand for. At 12 Plus, we believe in the power of every student to dream big and achieve beyond limits. This billboard represents our unwavering commitment to fighting for all students, standing proudly with them as they break through barriers and redefine their futures. We are here to make noise, to disrupt inequities, and to remind everyone driving by that the fight for education equity is not optional—it’s essential. To every student, teacher, and advocate who believes in the promise of education as the great equalizer: this one’s for you. Together, we are building a future where opportunity isn’t just a privilege—it’s a right! ?? Let’s keep shining. Let’s keep fighting. ?? ?? : Kenny Wooten #EducationEquity #HumanRight #12Plus #BoldForOurStudents

One of the best partners we have at Mastbaum CTE, and best in school organizations I have had the pleasure of working with is 12+ ! This is their first year at Mastbaum, and have had such an incredible impact on our students! They have been very hands in, and passionate about getting the kids set up for success after high school, and recognizing the current achievements of the students. Everytime a student or staff asks them for help, they jump on it! Today they created an awesome wall representing the seniors, and it is amazing! Take a look. Thank you 12+ team for being their for our awesome students!!

Giving Tuesday is almost over, but there’s still time to make a difference! When 12 Plus partners with a high school, we work with every student, providing school-wide events, personalized in-class workshops, and countless hours of one-on-one college and career advising—all for just $500 per student per year. Today, an amazing anonymous donor stepped up to support 20 seniors in their postsecondary planning journey. Their generosity will empower these students to explore their passions, pursue their dreams, and embrace a lifetime of learning. Now, it’s your turn. Will you be the one to support a student tonight? Every dollar makes a difference, and together, we can fuel brighter futures!
