Please meet: ?? Shannon Yavorsky, Global Chair of the Cyber, Privacy & Data Innovation Group at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP and Co-Head of their AI Practice. Shannon champions privacy, #AI law, and women’s leadership in AI, focusing on responsible innovation and the power of diverse voices in tech. If she were to give a #TEDTalk, it would be on "How AI is transforming the legal industry and how young lawyers can prepare to thrive in this changing world." Her advice? “Make sure you love what you do and work with the right people. Collaboration and trust lead to better outcomes and personal growth.” ?? Lori-Anne Walters, M. Jur. is the Associate Director of Privacy Contracting and Third-Party Due Diligence at Merck Pharmaceuticals. She is very passionate about Privacy/Data Protection and helping others grow professionally. Shannon Ralich is Senior Director and Associate General Counsel, Privacy and AI at JFrog where she champions the evolution of privacy counsel into strategic business leaders, believing that understanding both technical architecture and financial performance transforms risk management into revenue-driving opportunities. We'd all be in the audience for this presentation she'd give: “Digital Twins and the Death of Anonymity”—exploring how AI aggregates data to build eerily accurate digital personas. And her advice for women earlier in their career? “Build a personal Board of Directors with mentors and sponsors who can open doors and guide you through challenges.” ?? Rachael Ormiston is a well-respected Technology Policy and Data Protection Executive at Osano. She champions diversity and inclusion in the privacy space, advocating for gender equality and preventing burnout while addressing privacy’s operational challenges. Her proposed TEDTalk would dispel the misconceptions around EU privacy regulation, showing its alignment with US priorities and the growing importance of keeping data safe. Her advice for up-and-comers? “Always be learning—15 minutes a day can transform your growth.
