#MedalofHonorDay is a time to foster a public appreciation and recognition for our recipients. Today, our nation honors the 3,528 who have received the Medal since the Civil War. We appreciate the opportunity it offers to reinforce what this day means to our nation. Today, we recognized recipients from our 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and 5th Special Forces Group with a ceremony at Governor's Square Mall, Clarksville, TN.

The future is here! As part of the Army's continuous Transformation in Contact, the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) is fielding drones across the brigades with 3D printed parts that can be rebuilt as needed to keep us in the fight. Operation Lethal Eagle was the first time we've seen this capability used in the field on a mass scale. Earlier this week, Soldiers from The Sabalauski Air Assault School and the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Band helped to support the Nashville Predators during one of their military salute games. #airassault #Preds

On March 14, 1-33 CAV, 3rd BCT, 101st ABN DIV, "War Rakkasans", cased their colors and deactivated as part of the Army's continuous transformation initiatives. Veterans of the unit came out to U.S. Army Fort Campbell to see their unit's colors cased one final time. #airassault #fighttomorrowsfighttoday
