To change everything, we need everyone.

关于我们

100% is bringing Minnesotans together – people just like you – who believe we need an equitable clean energy future for everyone in our state. With both organizational partners and individual endorsees, the 100% Campaign is grounded in the idea that “to change everything, we need everyone”. We are organizing a cross-sector, statewide, multi-racial, intersectional campaign to build an equitable clean energy economy that works for everyone in Minnesota. We believe that Minnesotans must act now to ensure our well-being for generations to come. To do that, we must: Transition to safe, clean, locally-made energy solutions at scale and as quickly as we can. Create solutions that work for all Minnesotans across race, gender, class, and place Encourage public & private investments, expand worker training, and create new energy solutions that save us money Strengthen all communities that are impacted by pollution or the transition away from fossil fuels

Today friends from across the state showed up at the capitol to ask our representatives to stay strong for voters until a power-sharing agreement is reached. We all fought hard to make Minnesota a better state for everyone, and we won’t let those protections be taken away. ALL of #mnleg should respect the will of the voters, so we can do the important work of making the lives of all Minnesotans better, and protecting the future of the places and people we love. Thank you to our partners at: Elders Climate Action Faith in MN Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate MN350 TakeAction MN

If you’re like us, you’re feeling a little anxious. We’re channeling it into commitment. If you’re ready to protect what we’ve won and position ourselves to win more, join us. We’re hosting a Zoom call next Thursday night to do two things. First, we’ll share what we’ve learned about climate & clean energy during the first few days of the new presidential administration. If you want to learn more about executive orders, cabinet appointments, and what’s moving in Congress, this is the call for you. Second, we’ll preview our new implementation map. It’s a tool we’ve been developing to help tell the story about what we ought to protect. WHAT: 46 -> 47: What to expect during the first 100 days. WHEN: Thursday, January 23rd from 6:30-8pm RSVP: https://lnkd.in/g4b4FW_m We firmly believe we can keep moving forward over the next four years. It’ll be tough. It’ll take some creativity. But we’re Minnesotans. We do hard things.

Yesterday, the Minnesota Legislature was set to reconvene—but that didn’t happen. Instead, a group of members seized control of the chamber, claiming authority and attempting to override the will of the voters and the courts by removing duly elected Representatives. This is not just an attempt at power—it’s an illegal power grab that we expect to be struck down by the courts. ?? Take Action Now: Let your voice be heard! Use our tool to call your representatives and urge them to respect the voters' will. Or, if they're doing the right thing, send your thanks! https://shorturl.at/h4D2J

We’ve been working on a way for people to see where climate investments are happening in our state, and it’s finally time for you to take a look. Click through the link in our bio and check out our new map of climate investments in Minnesota being funded through the IRA. You can check things out by category, or zoom in and read the details of each story. We’ll be adding to the map as money keeps coming in, so you’ll be able to see as the impact of the IRA comes to our communities.

With the passage of the IRA and IIJA, as well as the landmark 2023-24 legislative biennium, over $4,000,000,000 is moving into the state of Minnesota to fund real climate solutions. But all this money is more than lines in a spreadsheet, it represents huge, positive impacts on people and communities across our state. How do we get beyond the big dollar numbers of the IRA and see where the money is going, and how it’s impacting our communities? We’ve got the answer. In our series “Land of 10,000 Climate Solutions”, we’ll take you on a tour of Minnesota that highlights how climate investments are changing the lives of everyday Minnesotans like you. From new, energy efficient grain dryers to electric school buses and funding for transit, these projects are creating good jobs, saving energy, and helping shape the just, sustainable future that we’re fighting for. In this series, we’ll feature the stories of people, organizations, and local governments who’ve received funding for climate solutions. We’ll talk about how each kind of investment scales, what kind of impact it makes, and how we can ensure that every Minnesotan is getting a piece of the pie. Hope you'll follow along!

Minnesota's new e-bike credit was so popular, that applications for it maxed out in just a few hours. We need long-term climate investments— including transit solutions like the e-bike credit— to ensure that we can build a just and sustainable future for all Minnesotans.

Have you seen the news about how the federal government is giving over $1 Billion dollars to local school districts to buy electric school buses? Low-income, rural and tribal communities are slated to receive roughly 67% of the total funding—funding which is going to make a real impact on the lives and health of Minnesota kids. We are proud to know two people who were critical to Minnesota getting a piece of that funding, and to state investing $13 million on electric school buses this biennium, doctors Dan Trajano and Paula Thomsen. Listen to their story and learn how these doctors learned about the health impacts of diesel buses and how that drove them to take climate action.

Minnesotans understand that our climate is changing, and that we need to prepare. In fact, we’ve been doing it for years at the capitol every time we’ve invested in flood mitigation or wildfire preparedness or emergency planning. Those have been important investments, but they’ve been piecemeal. It’s time to take a look at the big picture. And there’s a bill moving at the capitol to do just that. It’s Senate File 4910 / House File 4684, and it funds a study designed to quantify the projected economic costs of adapting to climate change in three potential scenarios: intermediate, high, and very high greenhouse gas emissions. In other words, it asks: what will climate change cost Minnesotans? Minnesotans can take on big challenges. This study will help us do that. Can you let Sen. Foung Hawj and Rep. Rick Hansen know that you support the Climate Change Adaptation Study that’s in the Senate Environment Omnibus bill? https://lnkd.in/giq2YJX7
