Is there a better way to celebrate love and friendship than by gathering for our winter meeting? We truly felt the love for our community! Last year, we raised an impressive $49,000, bringing our total fundraising efforts to nearly $200,000 since our inception in 2018. It was undoubtedly our best year yet, and we are committed to supporting more impactful projects this year. After learning from three amazing causes, we are thrilled to announce that the recipient of our Impact Award is the 'I Love You Bro, Project' — a nonprofit dedicated to men's mental health and suicide awareness. Thank you to?the UGLY Utah Girls Love You Foundation?for its impact report, the Birthday Box Foundation, and Utah County Sheriff Search And Rescue for sharing their invaluable missions and insights. It's official! Our new president Tyna-Minet Anderson is determined to make our organization grow and secure matching grants for all charities. Tyna, a lifelong resident of Utah County, quickly joined 100 Women Who Care to support local charities. Now, her goal is to empower all charity nominees because of the dedicated individuals working tirelessly behind the scenes to improve Utah County. She plans to grow the organization's membership and secure business sponsors to support charitable causes. Tyna is excited about making a positive impact in Utah Valley! Here's what happened: 1) After hearing from three amazing charities, the winner of the Summer Impact Award is?The Refuge Utah! ?? 2) Thanks to our funding + a matching grant from the?Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation,?CharityVision purchased TWO spot screeners for their SightBuddies school screening program. 3) With new members, our group has 90 women! ?? Great news! The Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation is donating $5,000 to our Impact Award winner, CharityVision. In 2023 alone, the Schulze Foundation awarded $79 million in grants, and some of our charity winners have benefited from this incredible support.
