It was a pleasure to discuss the energy transition and the need for adaptation during the “Speeding Our Net Zero Transition: Investing in and Commercializing Solutions with Scale and Impact” session at the 100 Women In Finance event in NY. ?The panel was action oriented and highlighted capital deployment in different forms.?While Preeti Bhattacharji, U.S. Head of Sustainable Investing, J.P. Morgan Private Bank emphasized continued client-driven growth in SI, Leslie Biddle, Deputy Undersecretary for Commercialization and Finance, U.S. Department of Energy focused on the DOE’s deployment of capital to solutions providers and noted that private sector dollars have matched the department’s at a rate of $6 for every $1 invested.?My remarks dovetailed with both and included a ‘call to action’ to focus on investing in climate adaptation and resilience alongside mitigation as no matter how quickly we transition we are still facing more frequency and intensity of severe climate events.?And of course the discussion was expertly moderated by Emily A. Chien, Senior Fellow at Harvard University.?It was a treat to compare notes!

Sustainability ? Climate Tech Finance? AI ? Board Director ? IFRS Advisory Council (ISSB, IASB)? Social Impact
One of my favorite fall events is the annual 100 Women In Finance Impact Investing Symposium. Our sold out October 1st event attracted 250+ leaders rallying around Climate Finance, Nature/Biodiversity, Diversity and Inclusion, Impact trends, AI, other keen topics for feature panels and 15+ lightning Table Talks. Honored to host Gina McCarthy for a rousing K-A Fireside Chat Keynote "Turbocharging Our Clean Energy Future" reflecting on rising momentum in Climate Investments, America Is All In, Pegasus Capital Advisors, TPG Rise Climate. Following the Keynote we heard from a Featured Panel of powerhouse financial leaders who are driving critical investment across the capital stack in innovation, infrastructure, resilience, and climate tech 2.0?. . .?Thank you to Leslie Biddle U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Deputy Under Secretary for Commercialization and Finance, Preeti Bhattacharji Head of Sustainable Investing J.P.
