MISSION The mission of the 100 Black Men of Sacramento is to improve the quality of life in our communities and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans. MENTORING The primary mission of the 100 Black Men of Sacramento is to engage in the mentoring of young African American males. The organization sponsors group mentoring programs in schools in the Sacramento area. EDUCATION Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. Our goal is to teach African American youth the tools needed to make the world a better place. The 100 Black Men of Sacramento has educated African American youth for over three decades, believing that all youth, regardless of race and socioeconomic status must have access to quality education. HEALTH AND WELLNESS Through various programs and patterned ships with health organizations. The 100 Black Men of Sacramento organize and sponsor health and wellness efforts that address conditions that disproportionately affect the African American community. ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT Our economic empowerment programs and initiatives foster financial literacy, career development, financial planning, investment management, and fiscal responsibility at an early age. Exposing our youth to the skills, strategies, and mindset of entrepreneurship also provide beneficial, transferable knowledge that will help to establish a firm foundation from which they can later build upon for business development and wealth creation.
