Prior to this weekend, I knew of Gary Vaynerchuk, primarily as an entrepreneur and the CEO of VaynerMedia and VaynerSports. When the opportunity came about to work with Felisa Israel and the 10 Fold Entertainment team at VeeCon as a Brand Ambassador in Guest Services, I had never heard of the conference but was thrilled and grateful for the opportunity. Marketed as a "conference-meets-festival" celebrating the present and future of business, marketing, technology, innovation, and pop-culture, I didn't entirely know what to expect. Over the last three days, what caught me by most surprise was the deep-rooted community, passion, connection and support amongst the fans. Many look up to Gary as a relatable role model, an idol – a transformative leader. People see themselves in the words that he speaks. I spent my weekend at the info booth and along FriendsFest talking with and answering questions from people all over the world, managing flow of people throughout the event, capturing content, and bringing the energy to BE THE EXPERIENCE #3SUP Fun Facts! 1) I finally had an opportunity to meet my teammate and colleague from IMPACT Learning Institute in person, Zaid Sater!! 2) My favorite VeeFriends character? Determined Dolphin :) 3) Not necessarily a fun fact but just so incredibly grateful for Alexis Hinkle, the guest services team manager, Madison Hergert, MBA Sports Business for running the show, Jazmine Hall for being our uplifting energizer-bunny, Felisa Israel for creating the best family I could have asked for, and another beautiful weekend in sunny – but not 115°F – LA!
