Gene Hackman, Legendary Actor, Dies at 95??? Gene Hackman, the iconic actor whose career spanned five decades, has passed away at 95. Known for unforgettable roles in The French Connection, Unforgiven, and The Royal Tenenbaums, Hackman was one of Hollywood’s greatest talents. A two-time Academy Award winner, Hackman’s commitment to his craft made him a beloved figure both on and off screen. The New York Film Academy offers its deepest condolences to Hackman’s family, friends, and fans worldwide. His extraordinary contributions to film will continue to be an inspiration to countless aspiring actors and filmmakers for generations to come.

?? Filmmaking as a Bridge Between Cultures Pakistani-American writer and director Bob Ahmed, a NYFA short-term filmmaking alum, is making waves with his latest project, Adam’s Fire. "I hope that Adam’s Fire can spark something in people. It’s about trauma, healing, and the power of connection across cultures. I’ve never seen a film explore these themes quite like this before. My goal is for the audience to walk away feeling inspired, thoughtful, and maybe even a little healed." -Ahmed.
