The Vine Theater, a premier 1,600-seat live performance venue located within the del Lago Resort & Casino, has upgraded its concert system to a completely installed 1 SOUND system. The Vine which is in the circuit of touring bands, comedians, and other performances chose 1 SOUND point sources over more popular line array options for their theater. “The clarity and coverage provided by the 1 SOUND system is astounding. With the completed 1 SOUND system, we have even coverage with + or - 2 dB in every seat of the house. Which is huge. It means we are even above industry standard specs! The sound pressure levels we are able to achieve with this 1 SOUND system is so far above what is even required for a sold out show, it’s incredible! I used to have a huge plug-in chain and now I’m down to an EQ and a compressor. The first time setting them up I did our standard wedge set up as if we had a touring band come in and within ten minutes I had the stage levels at over 115 dB clean and stable. What an honor it was to attend del Lago Resort & Casino's 1 SOUND Premiere Party this past weekend! The management of Del Lago Resort, owned by Churchill Downs, and their theater’s staff are proud of their new audio system. They are so satisfied with their experience that they wanted to celebrate and show it to their local community of venue owners and clientele. After years of producing concerts and events in their 2,000 seat theater, they decided to seek a new audio system for their theater and after hearing audio demonstrations and discussing design they landed on a newer solution, a 1 SOUND point source design. This is an exciting story about The Vine Theater finding a solution and seeing the positive results unfold before them.
