Your sales and marketing teams need to be ONE team - your revenue team. And according to A. Lee Judge here’s how you bring these traditionally competitive teams together: 1) they must have shared goals - Revenue! Revenue! And Revenue! (Don’t you dare try to tell me that marketing doesn’t impact revenue) 2) there has to be continuity of information - let’s talk about your tech stack (spreadsheets don’t count; there is a better solution) 3) they must have open access to each other’s systems - no seat constraints, no wondering what marketing said to that prospect before you call them 4) they have to both have ownership of the end-to-end revenue cycle - see #1) above! 5) marketing operations are just as important as sales oerations - they could even be the same person Who is on your revenue team?
