“Kendimi geli?tiriyorum” demenin yollar?ndan biri de olumsuz geri bildirimlere kulak vermek, ciddiye almak ve uygulayabilmektir. Y?k?c? olmayan her tür ele?tiriye kar?? a??k olmal? ve tahammül g?stermelisiniz. H?r??n ve sald?rgan tepkiler hakk?n?zda olumlu dü?ünülmesine olanak tan?maz. Sizi geli?tirmeye olanak tan?yacak olan negatif geribildirimlere sükunet ve olgunlukla yakla??n.

EAT THE FISH, SPIT OUT THE BONES How lucky are you! Someone took the time to give you the gift of negative feedback. Most people say nothing. That doesn’t help you. Yes negative feedback stings but it’s a signpost to where your attention is needed. Fix it. Tweak it. Test it. Repeat. You will be a better speaker. Now go back to your critic. Show them what you’ve done. This disarms them and strengthens you. It’s a win/ win. So stop fearing criticism. You need it if you want to improve. If you’re seeking approval from your talks you’re sorta missing the point. You are in front of people to make an impact and that means not being everyone’s cup of tea. Eat the fish, spit out the bones.

When you hear a negative/constructive feedback from your audience, it more often than not means that they were truly invested in your presentation/talk. This is among the most important part for growth in your journey to be a public speaker. Accept, acknowledge the feedback and identify where in your preparation you can work on implementing the learnings from these feedbacks. Make it a habit to seek feedbacks, not always the feedbacks are loud and vocal, many a time they are subtle as simple as a nod, grin, smile, body language of the audience who are listening to you. This will truly help you gradually grow as a speaker

Transforming negative feedback into growth involves a strategic and constructive approach: -View feedback as an opportunity to improve rather than a personal attack. Develop a growth attitude so that you can accept criticism as a tool for improvement. -Pay attention to the feedback without defensiveness. Analyze the feedback to identify actionable points. -To assess your development, use the feedback as a starting point. To guarantee continued growth, review and improve your strategy on a regular basis. -Expressing professionalism and maturity by thanking the individual for their insights. Better communication and trust are fostered by a good reaction.

First thing to learn in life is "Feedback is a Feedback". Negative or Positive is just a perspective. So way to accept a feedback is 100% UNBIASED UNFILTERED Acceptance (need not be agreement). Feedback is something, other person actually interprets or feels. We can never change it. If the feedback is honest (unmanipulated & without any selfish intent), it should ideally be taken at face-value. Then we should really take it constructively and work on the same. I like feedback from the current generation youngsters. They are clear. At first, we may not like it but let's look at it THE WAY THEY LOOK AT IT. Thats the game changer. Once, we look at a feedback objectively and accept it assertively, we actually work towards improvement.
