The field of travel is one of my favorite areas to write about since it has a large and wide audience with diverse tastes, languages, interests and cultures... bring it to life and try to show the importance of its presence in each person's life with different stories and open the journey to their life in a way. I believe that traveling on adventure to different worlds with impressive charms and beauties, creating colorful memories and moments and embracing new and fresh experiences is something that should be written and recorded in everyone's life book.

Additionally, you have to immerse yourself in local culture and reflect the anecdotes of genuine experience of each destination to sound authentic to resonate with the varied audience. It is important not to sound cliched and stereotype to ensure your content is informative, genuine, and relatable.

And, do you talk to your client and a friend the same way? No. Then, tailor your WRITTEN CONVERSATION to the person you are talking to. D2C brand? More friendly and meme-worthy (like some artist do keep their relevance) B2B brand? Professional yet friendly (in order to attract the right type of audience.) It's simple. (Not easy :)

This part is the crutch of the hand and at the same time the trump card of every writer, because listening to the feedback of the audience not only informs us about the strengths and weaknesses of our writing, but it can be the basis for sparking new ideas and igniting them. It should be on paper and involve the mind and heart of the audience and create a deep and intimate connection.

I've come to realize that the best stories often lie in the unspoken moments. By listening intently to the people I meet on the road – their struggles, their triumphs, and their dreams – I gain a deeper understanding of the places I visit. I learn to appreciate the nuances of different cultures, the complexities of history, and the resilience of the human spirit. By listening and learning, I'm able to craft stories that not only inform but also inspire, and hopefully, leave a lasting impact on my readers.

I agree with this statement. Being curious means being enthusiastic. As a travel writer, you have to reflect your travel experience in words that allow readers to dwell in your time swiftly and instantly. To keep your readers engaged, talk about people you met, culture you explored, places you visited, food you liked the most, etc. This will fuel your writing with the right elements (authenticity) that keep the readers engaged and curious to read your content till the end.

Curiosity is essential for a travel writer—it ignites your adventures and infuses your stories with wonder. To maintain your authentic voice, stay curious about the world and the people you encounter. Let this genuine interest shine in your writing. Share your discoveries with enthusiasm and invite readers to experience the world through your perspective. Your passion for travel is infectious and forms a connection with your audience.

Adaptability doesn't mean shifting your voice from article to article. It means maintaining your authenticity while exercising your ability to appeal to a diverse group. The beauty is that you can expand your reach without compromising your voice or unique perspective. This level of adaptability makes you a diverse, authentic, and inclusive writer.

It is so important to go back and re-read some of your earlier writings if only to look at just how far your journey has come. I do this often when I feel writer's block or need some inspiration to just get out of a slow moment of not feeling passionate about my current writing. Even though I have significantly evolved as a writer over the years, revisiting my blogs or writings shows me how passionate I once was about those certain subjects and often reignites a fire inside me to continue on. While my voice has remained authentic, my writing styles have grown and changed as I attended workshops, trainings and courses. It is beautiful to see how the journey has progressed, and just how important those skills I learned along the way are.

Know your ICP. Know the reader. Use humor. It's never about YOU and it's always about THEM (the reader). Don't be afraid to be brutally honest and even controversial. Being boring is the worst strategy (especially in a saturated market).
