-Automate as much as you can. -Run your automation suite on regular basis. - Your automation suite should have automated test data creation process to test the features. - Automate positive, negative scenarios , edge cases etc. - Be careful while doing assertions it should actually do the verification based on acceptance criteria. - Ensure you are going back in the report to look each of the test failures. - Test Automation result should be reliable and should show about every scenarios , test execution result, stats etc. - Create automation pipeline to run through scheduling. - Run the automation suite in release pipeline. - Document the automation test coverage. - Regression, Data driven, important business logics etc.. People get distracted and will miss some of these at least some of the time. Make failures as loud as possible and easy to spot. Until you know how something can fail, anything out of the norm, needs to be reviewed and triaged (then ideally added as something automation can catch).

It's important to maximize the amount of time as per “normal” software projects, always testing is the reduced part and most critical.

One should use the right tools at the right time when required in the project. There are vaious tools and techniques but choose the right tool that could benefit within the team and the project by considering various factors such as team current skills and experience, budget allocated for the project, timelines, resource availability, the environment support and also if it meets the requirement to achieve the goal as expected. When a tool is required for estimating the project timelimes and tracking the resources efforts to be considered and choose the project management like Jira and if testing needs to be measured here then what type of plugin supports with Jira to integrate with and accomodate automation and manual testing together.

By using the right tools like code review,CI/CD pipeline, Selenium,Appium,TestNG , Maven for automation tetsing ,defect management tools and techniques you can meet the project timeline as it also reduces your manual efforts and speed up the project delivery.

The right approach to using the right tool is size, complexity the software. And also either to go for comprehensive testing or just the critical aspect of your software.

Communication and collaboration is most important part in order to kick start your software testing and it can be done via different level of documentation and it is very useful when you are working closely with away team or different time zone like (PST/IST).

Todo siempre debe partir desde la premisa de saber qué necesita el cliente, para qué y cómo se hará, para poder actuar. Teniendo claro eso, es posible crear un plan donde definiremos el tipo de pruebas que abarque estrategicamente la mayor cantidad de funcionalidades en un tiempo menor. Un test plan base. Este lo podemos ir mejorando, a medida que se vaya agregando valor al producto final. Algo importante de mencionar: separar concepto de agilidad con la rápidez. No siempre algo que se ejecute en el menor tiempo posible, gana calidad. La planificación también debe considerar tiempo de pruebas, para no cometer el error de tomar a la ligera la revisión de un producto que puede generar un impacto negativo al usuario final.

This is really a major portion in testing/ Project life cycle. Nowadays people are not giving the correct importance to the communications and collaboration between the teams. There should be a proper channel to get in touch with all the stakeholders and the teams(Dev, BA, SA and the third party). This will play a major role while doing the test execution. In my opinion this channel should start from the requirements analysis. And finally the relationship among the teams should be healthy and approachable all the time. Testers should not give the hard time to the Dev or BA to understand the defects and same time BA/Dev should be open to accept the defects.

What I found useful to improve and enhance your Testing processes, is there should be Lessons Learned captured by the Test Team while testing is being done, that document the activities that should continue and ones that should be improved. This ensures that ALL improvements are captured when it happen, so at the end of the Testing, there is a comprehensive list of “Lessons” that can be analyzed and the “key” ones incorporated for future testing phases. This should be shared with the Project Teams, so they are aware that improvements are always welcome

The most crucial step to speed up the testing process is to stay organized while performing the testing of software. Most testers consider organizing test cases as their last priority in the testing cycle. However, using good test management techniques, maintaining accurate data, and keeping clean automation reports can save a lot of time and make the testing cycle much smoother. By keeping the testing process organized, testers can repeat the test cycles quickly if a re-run of test cases is required

En proyectos que ya están en un nivel productivo o preproductivo es importante tener en cuenta la opinión de los usuarios finales, revisar regularmente las reviews del producto y prestar especial atención a los errores reportados. Esto nos dará herramientas para saber en donde se deben concentrar los esfuerzos para futuros releases y ayudará a robustecer el stack de pruebas enfocadas en los riesgos.

Según mi experiencia, se debe tener en cuenta la opinión de los usuarios funcionales ya que últimamente se quieren automatizar los procesos con rapidez. pero a veces esos detalles que nos puede dar el usuario quedan desapercibidos.

When it comes to speeding up the testing process, there are simple things we can optimize from our daily activites. One thing is optimizing CI/CD cycle. By pushing the updated code as quickly as possible, testers are guranteed that the required fixes are available and issues are resolved quickly. Optimizing the bug reporting is another thing. A clear and accurate bug report with adequate details will definetly speed up the test process.

Sometimes in Test Engineering you find an issue that other very well qualified and experienced colleagues don't see as a risk and management supports their view over yours. I found early on that I needed to get better data in those situations, or input from a third party. Even with intermittent issues, take a look at how the test is designed or the environmental factors are configured.
