To work remotely you need planning skills and that includes scheduling a spot for focus time and think what you will focus tomorrow. You can use your Calendar to recurring tasks and not just from one day to the next, even for long term (3-6 months, etc).

Limiting your exposure to the Internet, keeping the TV off, and stopping those frequent trips into the kitchen for a snack, are all good ideas to keep you focused on the work you need to do.

Working from home has its advantages. You can be comfortable while still being productive. It is also easier to be able to take breaks and fix yourself a snack or even lunch. Getting up from your desk a few times an hour and and doing something around the house is good for your mental acuity and good to keep your body moving.
