Nowadays with the Google suite and with tools like Slack or even better with Jira it is quite simple. There always has to be someone acting as scrum master.

Collaboration is also a key part of the Project management process. As a PM ensuring that channels for collaboration are maintained help with the timely delivery of the project. In my experience I’ve used tools like Jira, Trello, Asana.

Government is a strict commitment to procedures and people. It is necessary to have a complete tracking of everything. Everything is focused on metadata.

The DAMA Framework is a good reference model but experience is important. It is necessary to train the people who will act within the Data Governance process.

It is sincerely necessary to have a tool that can enrich the metadata, process tracking, data quality and data trends. It is necessary that the tool can define roles and policies. But the tool is the last thing, there are many more important things to define first.

Definitely a DG Tool is a must have: all the projects that started without a Tool and used Office Tools failed. But the DG tools needs to cover all Business Requirements not focus only to IT Requirements: have a Technical Data Catalog is NOT meaning to Have Data Governance for Business

However, In my experience I believe a thorough assessment of the needs of the organisation, compatibility with existing structure, scalability will inform you on the right tool to use.
