More often than not, I have noticed that when ownership and responsibilities are not established, everybody assumes their role in the project - which means the goals are not clear and possible duplication of work. This causes delays in achieving milestones and creates a frustration point. At the beginning of the project, it's important to scope out the roles and responsibilities of each individual and set SMART goals for each of them.

To create a successful team, it is important to let each member choose their own responsibilities based on their strengths and interests. Once these responsibilities are established, it is crucial to identify which team member can best relate to the client, understand their pain points, and navigate their journey. Once this is clear, establish a collaboration channel and develop a plan to execute the project while anticipating potential challenges.
