Incorporating creativity into a team-building activity can be fun and effective for fostering collaboration and innovation. Creative Problem-Solving Challenges: Present the team with a problem and ask them to develop innovative solutions. This could involve designing a new product or finding a unique way to save costs. Role-Playing Scenarios: Have team members act out scenarios relating to their work or interpersonal relationships. This can help them see things from different perspectives and practice empathy. The key to a successful creative team-building activity is to ensure that it is inclusive, engaging, and relevant to the team’s work. It should also allow every team member to contribute and feel valued.

Let's discuss about an example i.e. Abrogation of article 370, which was next to impossible task and executed with creative thinking, better team work and coordination.Here the people with strength and ability were identified and collaborated after doing a proper master planning listed with various factors. Proper type of communication between the members played a vital role here. The threat and risk to the society were measured and taken care very well.So,Creativity always play a major role when shortcomings and challenges are encountered by a team.

Creativity is the heart and soul of any company, creativity inspires growth and inspiration, changing the working landscape and showing healthy motive is key to success. Team growth activities outside of the workplace such as Summer BBQ's, hiking trips, or a beach day will make a huge difference.

For crafting a team-building activity, consider team characteristics (size, diversity, preferences), objectives, budget, time, and location constraints. Choose activities aligning with these factors and desired outcomes. Engaging your team in the selection process enhances motivation and ensures relevance.

One of my favorite activities is building small lego structures. Two and two. One gets the instructions and one gets a bag of bricks. Unable to see eachother and only communicating over the phone the one with the instructions have to guide the other to build the model. It's a good execise in customer service but also in being clear in setting goals or expectations. Lego is serious play.

When I go into a consulting meeting, the first thing I do is have everyone think of the stupidest idea or question they can think of. Then, I make it very clear that there is no such thing as a stupid question or idea when it comes to brainstorming. Some of the best thoughts and ideas come from association. #givingcandytostrangers
