RPA is ideal for: ? Rule-based tasks with clear instructions (e.g., data entry, form filling). ? High volume, repetitive processes (e.g., invoice processing, report generation). ? Structured data handling (e.g., spreadsheets, databases). ? Multi-system interactions (e.g., CRM to accounting system). ? Standardized workflows (e.g., employee onboarding). ? I would keep RPA as a back-up plan, as it can become a high maintenance tool. Underlying systems where RPA is applied to, can change over time and therefore will break your RPA process. RPA should not be confused with automation that uses API's, which is a far more stable way to automate processes. However, sometimes you're dealing with closed systems/ software and in that case you could consider RPA or better switch to a more modern (cloud based) system with good API functionality.
