You're swamped with training module tasks and tight deadlines. How do you decide what to prioritize?

Todo se resume en dos palabras, ORGANIZACIóN y DISCIPLINA. Organización para saber priorizar las actividades a realizar en el día, según su grado de aporte a nuestro crecimiento. Y disciplina para tener la constancia y consistencia necesaria para dise?ar un ritmo de trabajo y/o aprendizaje continuo. Claro, tener la CONVICCIóN de querer fortalecernos como profesionales, para así contar con más herramientas que nos ayuden al logro de nuestros OBJETIVOS. Las palabras en mayúscula, son definitivamente las claves infalibles.

Prioritize by focusing on impact and urgency. Identify the tasks that are critical to meeting deadlines and those that will have the greatest impact on your goals. Tackle high-impact, urgent tasks first, delegate or schedule less critical ones, and eliminate any that don’t add value.

It is important to understand the objective of the training and impact of each module. I typically categorize modules by impact, assigning them as low, medium, or high importance. After categorizing the modules, I identify the time sensitive ones and prepare a training schedule. Prioritizing urgent and important trainings first makes me deliver the best results given tight deadlines and limited resources.

There are times when as a freelancer you are overwhelmed with tasks, commitments, trainings, proposals and tons of other work to be done. One take a deep breath, two make a list of things to be done, three prioritise on urgency, time line, future scope of growth and then start finishing off one by one and continue ticking your list!! And yes do not forget mindfulness will keep you cool and going!! Happy Communicating!!

Some modules may be important eg. POSH training or trainings required by regulators but may not be urgent for the business. However, these need to be completed frequently and within deadlines. Missing them can bring lawsuits, penalties or other punitive actions. Thus, training modules need to be evaluated based on the business on the impact and the urgency both.

Tight deadlines, limited manpower, lower capitals can all act as constraints for effective training programs. However, that should not result in delivery of sub-standard training program. Based on the priorities set, one should schedule a training program in the best possible manner. Leveraging technology especially AI significantly improves the chances of achieving training objectives.

Delegating tasks is one of the ways of empowering a team member, and improving on their skills and knowledge. Consider some one who has the potential to do the tasks, and worked very closely with over a significant period of time.This will enable you to tackle all the required tasks, and saves time as well.
