This would provide a clear view of what issues are required to be addressed and what solutions would assist in catering the problem. One should also keep in mind the future expansion of the network so that the expansion plan need not be hindered

In my experience, before you even start to consider TMS solutions or requirements it is essential to determine your current baseline. Then discuss what it is you are trying to achieve, understanding that your current operations must have the identified basics known and understood by the current operating team.
