Maintaining sufficient fuel is very important and can be cost effective if you have 30 percent as in house and 70 as outsource as a backup, but need to invest in fuel technology in the long term to be more independent & energy?sufficient

The option to outsourcing fuel from a third party provider should be on a reciprocally basis. Give and take. Unless the services are efficient, the fuel quality is of highest standard and the price is fair market price. Otherwise it's always better to tanker the return sector fuel whenever possible.

I disagree in insource fuel service. It is simply unnecessary increase in workload and operational costs. Expensive equipments, more salaries for the entire team and its management, maintenance costs of the equipments and its insurance. Training costs for the entire development. It simply doesn't worth it and too expensive.

As I suggested before. Collaboration is the best option from outstations and other airlines. The services should be reciprocated. Win win situation for all. This includes the ground services and engineering services.

This is the future of aviation. As the world evolves and the technology and innovation are advancing, so must we. In fact, we must be pioneering and be proactive in reducing our carbon footprint. Fossil fuel options should be considered, optimisation of operations, cost index, and direct routing should be enforced whenever possible. And single engine taxi in operation. This will bring about tremendous fuel saving.

Flights optimisation is very important. I am a pioneer in reducing carbon footprint. Over two decades on my personal experience as a captain. I managed to save tons and tons of fuel just by optimising my flight. Request of direct routing from ATC, flying at optimum levels, continuous descend from top of descend point to landing, and single engine taxi in.
