Dont we all wish there was a secret recipe if you are struggling to manage your clients ! But in reality I can share with you some insights that might come handy. Struggling start when your client is either misinformed or misunderstood. Foster a culture of active listening to reach his pain points, nurture a clear and transparent communication environment where it allows your client to express himself genuinely. Take responsibility in defining meticulously the scope and fulfill your timely delivrables. Remember to scrutinize thoroughly the body language of your client as it's of upmost Importance.

How can you do anything for your clients if you don't know what they want? Listen to them and contact them regularly to ensure you understand their request. Also, it would be best to let them know your boundaries and limitations to ensure you are the one they need.

The key word at this point should be "managing expectations". Because in consultancy, both misunderstanding expectations and making promises that cannot be fulfilled will cause the competence of the consultant to be questioned as well as for the client company. Therefore, it is important to have a mutually correct understanding of the scope of the study, as well as to address it in a timely manner if there are deviations on the way to success. Then, of course, solution suggestions will need to be taken with "effective communication".
