Then, I break down the feedback into actionable changes while maintaining the core vision of the story. Collaborating with writers and designers, we iterate on key narrative elements, ensuring clarity and consistency. Engaging playtesters again to validate changes ensures the narrative stays immersive. This feedback-driven process not only strengthens the story but also aligns it with player expectations for a more engaging experience.

The first step is to define the pillars of your game narrative. What story are you planning to tell? What subtext do you want your game to deliver? Addressing player feedback can be tricky; you never want to stray from your basic objectives, but of course you want to listen to player feedback. Still, player feedback is better at identifying "there is an issue here" than "this is the way to solve it." Almost never do what the most vocal critics is say the right thing to do; the right thing to do is decide, okay, there is an issue, how do I resolve that problem while remaining true to the vision of of the game.

What I would like to do: - check the feedback to find the exact portions of the game where narrative coherence lacks - extract the basics of the issue and find a way to improve it, starting with simple changes and then going into fine detail - improve the game with the settled solutions - repeat
