Our configurations from 3-7 years ago should not follow the same methodologies for today’s storage. Performance needs change, businesses change, and how we consume platforms change. Data audits should include local, cloud, and platform consumption. We should never assume we have protections with cloud and platform storage. Either verify you have true protections and methods to restore data or plan to create those protective services.
