Una vez en mi rol como Operational Excellence Manager, había opiniones contradictorias sobre los beneficios de la implementación de un nuevo proceso en el almacén de electrodomésticos. En resumen, un grupo pensaba que 5 trabajadores en el equipo de carga de camiones cargaban más rápido un camión que 4... pero todo eran opiniones. Organicé una prueba real, con toma de tiempos. Posteriormente, analizando la información (espagueti, tiempos totales y costos de operación), el de 4 era más eficiente. Aprendizaje, probar, usar datos reales, alinear a los equipos.

Las opiniones divergentes pueden ser una oportunidad para enriquecer la implementación de Lean Manufacturing, siempre y cuando se gestionen adecuadamente. - Reunir al equipo para discutir las opiniones y crear un espacio donde todos se sientan escuchados es clave para generar confianza. - Lanzar un programa piloto en un área específica dónde los resultados sean fácilmente visibles e involucrar a las personas en el dise?o y la implementación para que se sientan parte del cambio y no simples observadores.
