This will help us to move forward towards better sales strategies to get the good results from the team.

Stay curious, and explain the "why." Refrain from assuming that inconsistency is due to laziness or incompetency. Your team has a valuable perspective. Ask them questions to determine what's causing the lack of accuracy and provide them with tools or process adjustments to resolve the issue. Your team may also be making assumptions that are affecting the quality of their work. Ensure they understand the reasoning behind your organization's processes and the impact their actions have on other departments.

Serve your sales team leading by example: Show them by using the "I do, we do, you do" method. How: In your 1:1's, discover where the broken link is with each team member by asking where they're getting stuck, then applying the method. "I'll do it." (they observe), now "Let's try one together" (guide them), now "You do it." (observe and encourage). Accurate order details will ensue, or improvement. Follow the method again as needed for each team member. Broken links begone. :)

I have always used a format which i found effective even in cross cultural teams . The 4 parameters are QQDT 1. QUANTITY 2.QUALITY 3.DIRECTION 4. TIME . Each of the parameters can be elaborated and get a sign off to ensure other party has understood in totality . Additional information like Pricing , certifications , special instructions should be added as and when required.
