The place of each party understanding the objective per period is critical. So the goals for a particular period has to be defined clearly for all parties to understand and also a channel of communication needs to be created between parties for them to interact in the course of executing the goals

when goals are understood by everyone it enables maximum resource utilisation and the training requirements of both teams . one example I can reference is the operation team lack of understanding the need of mining to the design will impact the overall mine plan of subsequent development. when it comes to resources, usually reworks are avoided when there is a clear defined goals

I believe RAMs & RACIs can have a positive impact on jobs with little to no cognitive requirements. However, if there is even a small requirement for cognitive abilities, they can be a deterrent to effective team building & can have a negative impact on the teams’ overall success. Maybe take a look at the reasons why the mining engineers aren’t included in the operational teams. Segregated work systems produce segregated results. This practice of divisional accountability creates a void that is counterproductive to building a cohesive, efficient and effective team. If you are the owner of this process, the answers to most of your concerns, lay within your personnel. Include them, challenge them and watch them shine!

Training is one of the best and to help even new comers to be able to understand the goal of the company. Knowing their role and reminding them our visions and mission.

communication and feedback is definitely the key to project efficiency. one thing have seen is that mining engineers make a plan without getting the feedback from operations team on how it's being implemented and the drawbacks. often times there is deviation from plan due to lack of communication between the two parties. a daily interaction between engineers and operation is definitely a way to improve efficiency

These one is the best weapon communicating on the process and giving feedback it encourages and makes everyone to realise that their also being considered

technology is the key to information shearing and monitoring of project efficiency. For example mining engineers can budget for a particular productivity which in turn has to be monitored by operations team. it's only technology that gives real time data to the both teams which gives them base for communicating areas of improvement
