Si tu herramienta central es R, sigue en R (aprende lo mínimo de Python y PowerBI y cosas así por si acaso, pero que no te dé apuro centrar un trabajo en R). Vas a tener a tu disposición herramientas para hacer todo, y ten en cuenta que eres estadístico: o sea, tu objetivo no es desarrollar software; tu objetivo es sacar aprendizajes de los datos. Cualquier cosa de integración y desarrollo que necesites será algo auxiliar, y para eso R tiene todas las herramientas necesarias (me remito al taller de José Luis Ca?adas mencionado más arriba).
