This completes your internship on any construction. Being there makes you a seasoned professional who needs no further experience to move up his life’s rungs of ladder.

as an intern first try to learn the method statement of that particular activity, then during site visit check weather the activity is going on as per MS or not..if have any doubts don't hesitate to ask your team ladder, manager.

Seeking regular feedback is indeed key to continuous improvement. In addition to gathering input from supervisors or mentors, I find it beneficial to ask peers and even subordinates for their perspectives. This 360-degree feedback can provide a well-rounded view of your performance. Constructive criticism, when embraced, helps you fine-tune your skills and stay adaptable. In construction, where precision is paramount, even small adjustments based on feedback can enhance overall project quality and efficiency. How do you usually incorporate feedback into your work?

One thing I’ve found helpful is feedback. It tells you areas you can improve on and what you are doing well. If you are seeking growth, this would be one of the best ways rather than guessing you’ve got it right when you haven’t or when there might be a better way to go about it. There’s a wealth of information among your superiors. It’s advisable to take advantage of it. This is proven to improve learning and growth.

Depending on your role within the construction industry will determine at what level of documentation you will need to keep or learn to accomplish. For example, project managers will need to learn large amounts of documentation during their internship and then following into their professional careers. For your internship, document things you learned that was new to you outside your formal education. Keep notes on certain processes that need to take place in order to be standard or code.

Networking is so important in the construction industry but to really enhance it. Remember our work is measured by results so keeping our work ethics and been a team player adds to networking where people actually take time out to meet you. "Power of Association "

Networking is an important element of learning and maintaining the relationship with others 1. Follow the internship process as per schedule and learn the things by observing the workplace and read the construction standards / procedures followed by them 2. Interact with the people who are already working on roles / off roles and if possible gain the hands on experience under the supervision of seniors 3. Record the learning’s and interact with the right person in case of any clarifications required on the processes / equipment / technology etc. 4. Keep in touch with the employees as on when required based on their convenience and try to spend most of the time with the seniors / job specialists/ process owners or do the shadowing of them

I have engaged myself for more than 0 years in the construction industry and the main thing i have found to build my business is the network i used to create locally and globally.

Safety should be the first thing you think about every single situation. Without safety first, the company will not be successful. Learn safety procedures, enforce them at all times. No job is worth the risk of injury (recordable) or death. A company's safety score or record is more important the amount of work they accomplish. That rating shows that when they come on site, they are safe and responsible. That is a trust that is hard to find. Make sure everyone leaves the site the way they came in.

One thing I found is to be honest not only with your employer but yourself. Honest about your career path, honest about your progress, honest about where you want to be in 6 months, 1 year, 10 years from now. Nothing will be handed to you. Its upto you to learn, its upto you to make sacrifices to achieve you goal. Nobody owes you anything, but you owe everything to yourself. Learn, learn, learn, listen to the experts, listen to the experienced heads around you. They have made the mistakes and now they are passing on their knowledge of how to do it. Grasp the opportunity

Understand what's holding you back. Once you're aware of your fears, you can start to overcome them. Break down larger, more daunting tasks into smaller, manageable steps. This can make them less intimidating. Talk to a mentor, friend, or family member about your goals. Their encouragement can help you stay motivated.

A recurring issue that I have noticed is that younger team members get a nervous energy with any prolonged silence in a conversation. Try to stray away from those filler words and be direct and concise. When customer approaching or municipalities/codes approaching, I would say to challenge yourself in these instances to answer their direct question and nothing more. I have seen younger team members open up a can of worms with a customer or city code department divulging information that the original question had nothing to do about. Construction management is all about mitigating risk, but if you can get entry level associates to understand these two "soft" skills, you are ahead of the game and have done them a favor.

Become a shadow to your mentor and do everything they tell you to do as efficiently as possible. Do more & talk less unless you're asking questions. Most importantly, take every opportunity you have to get out of the office and be on site as much as possible and speak to the artisans.
