One of the ways to foster creativity and innovation within your team is by creating an open and flexible environment where team members (designers, developers, etc) can be themselves and think outside the box. Creativity and innovation is sparked through freedom and as a project manager, you should thrive to give your team a sense of freedom in their day to day activities. When something is needed and you know what to do to achieve it, you should give your team the opportunity to explore and discover what to do to achieve the needed results by themselves. This will encourage your team to think outside the box, foster creativity and even come up with a better solution than what you have in mind.
