Some of the best practices can be used; - To clarify and formulate the RIGHTS & DUTIES of the both parties. What are the rights to have and duties to play from both ends need to be discussed & agreed collaboratively. - To separate the problem for the person. The focus should be to identify the root cause of the problem and take actions to solve the problem in a sustainable way. - To identify & communicate the benefits of solving the problem for the end to end supply chain and share the benefits.

The initial step in collaborative/ synergetic problem-solving is to define/ rename the problem clearly and objectively. One/You need to understand what the background /root cause of the problem is, how it affects your business goals and objectives, and what the desired outcome is. You also need to communicate/ discuss the problem to your supplier in a respectful and factual way, avoiding blame or accusations.
