It's never about me but Christ. So I will anchor on 1 Peter 3:15 ; "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. Do it with gentleness and respect." So I will; 1. Focus on transformation points rather than details 2. Like in Psalm 40:1-3, I will emphasise the "new song" God gave me and "sing" it a bit. 3. Follow the Samaritan woman's pattern (John 4) - she shared briefly but powerfully: "Come see a man who told me everything I ever did" Making sure I ; - Share struggles categorically, not specifically - Highlight God's faithfulness over my failures - And always circle back to Scripture's truth - I will end with hope and invitation, like Peter in Acts 2:38-39.

"That's a great question! When sharing personal stories, it's essential to balance vulnerability and professionalism. Here are a few tips: Focus on the Lesson: Instead of dwelling on the details of a personal experience, highlight the valuable lesson you learned. For example, instead of sharing every detail of a challenging time, please focus on the resilience and strength you gained. Relate to Your Audience: Connect your story to the audience's experiences by highlighting universal emotions and challenges. Show them how your journey mirrors their own. Set Boundaries: While sharing personal stories can be powerful, it's important to maintain professional boundaries. Avoid sharing overly sensitive or private information."

Here are some tips to make stories from your life personal and relatable without being cringey... 1) Share the emotion, not all the details. They don't need to know your parents were fighting at the time unless it's relevant to the lesson you're sharing. 2) Ask people if they've ever experienced something that made them think or feel or behave in a certain way. That primes them to call up a similar recollection and make you relatable even if the story or context isn't. 3) Paint the picture. Was it hot or cold? How did it smell? Who was there? How did they respond? That brings the story to life in their mind. Even the most innocent story can teach a deep lesson of the audience is immersed in it.
