When following up on job leads, be polite and respectful. Show that you're interested in the job without being too pushy. Let them know you're still interested and mention any new skills or experience you've gained. Wait a week or two before following up again. Thank them for their time and let them know you're excited about the opportunity. This will help you stay in their mind without being annoying.
-
You have what a potential employer needs. Be intentional about explaining how your capabilities can help them solve their problems.
-
It's okay to reach out and reiterate your interest in the role and ask what the status of your candidacy is. This way you can find out if you are still under consideration for the role. If not you can move on.

Maintaining professionalism while following up as a job seeker without being pushy is very important. This is what you can do- 1. Be respectful of their time, keep your message brief and focused. 2. Maintain a courteous and enthusiastic tone 3. If no response comes after the first follow-up, wait at least another week before reaching out again to avoid seeming too eager. 4. Ensure your email subject is straightforward, like “Follow-up on [Position] Application,” to make it easy to reference. 5. Close with a thank you for their time and consideration, showing professionalism and gratitude even if the timeline is uncertain.

do your research before asking or speaking to someone - who is hiring, who is firing. Once you have solid hunch that can turn into a lead then you need to find someone and speak to them about it. Speaking to just anyone won't really help, to be honest :) There has to be something in the conversation to make them interested, basically make them "do something". Once you have made your way in, here's what I do. The 1 - 5 - 10 step! 1: Email the same day after your interview for thanking them for their time. 5: First follow up of your interview. 10: Second follow up on your interview by either call or email. After that, leave the company to get back to you within 5 days. If they don't you move on! Be polite & patient throughout the process.
