During freelancing it's really important to manage the time, as many times it can happen that if we don't estimate the amount of work earlier then we might need to do overtime which can have adverse affect on our health and we won't be able to give proper time to family.

Time management is must and we should always keep track of what is already done and what needs to be done, we can use tools like Asana for this. Also it is always important to estimate timelines effectively and communicate it properly to the client, I lost one project in the beginning because I had given short timelines to my first client and wasn’t able to deliver it.

I find using timers works best for me for planning my tasks over a day, and calendars to organise my work over weeks or months.
