While doing testing, I always took that ticket which is having priority. Priority always decide by Product Owner It is a chaining process

My approach involves identifying and evaluating the potential risks that could impact the project. I start by analyzing which areas of the software are most likely to fail or have the greatest impact if they do. By focusing testing efforts on these high-risk areas, I can ensure that we address the most important issues first, helping to mitigate potential problems before they affect the end user

Continuous communication from the Scrum Master, BAs, POs help us in understanding criticality of features. In my experience, we had multiple features to be deployed in short span of time. We assessed the critical features(which will be used often by client in production) and the less critical feature that wont be used often in Production, we put those features in backlog.

The other components are equally important, but we are having time constraints so it's better if we put our efforts on the area which are highly impactful and crucial in your product.

As End User When tester thinks from these three minds or personalities then there is no chance of bad impact on any software. Not everything can be automated, there will always be need to for Manual testing for high priority scenarios.

Hopefully some percentage of the tests are automated and running on a nightly basis. That helps offload some of the testing that would need to be done for a shortened time frame as you can consider those tests to be covered and focus on other tests. Just monitor the results of these tests for any errant behavior and test the other priority scenarios.

In advanced, in the beginning design stages should be clear priorities (and to update is needed) so most of the decisions are built to be made fast. Legal issues, finance issues must get high priorities and from my point of view also user experience for current stage as well as for brand reputation.

You have to have a wider picture and plan for automated process where your tests would be included into ci pipeline to catch bugs on earliest stages. Apart from your QA tests there might be unit tests as well as integration tests from developers. And your goal here would be to monitor how dev builds are processing and report any kind of bugs CI pipelines will find.
