First is to really set the table that this is a very new and different scenario, and that it's a relatively misunderstood one. I encourage them to open their minds and 'unlearn' any common wisdom about AI they may have picked up from social media, the news, etc. Then, I get down to the details and the specifications. I will work with them to show them how AI is one (or both) of two things as appropriate. The first -- how it can take their existing processes and make them more efficient, and what the roadmap to achieving that will look like. The second -- and perhaps more important -- is to go through scenarios that were previously impossible or infeasible, and show how AI may expand their business into new areas!

We’re leaving in the age of the birth of AI. It is very powerful and we see improvements and advancements every day. However, we need to be able to communicate to our clients and partners that is not perfect yet. By setting the right expectations from the beginning, we can avoid disappointment and misunderstandings. The best combination is to have a human and machine working together. AI is not here to replace an automate humans out of their work. But to be a powerful helper that can improve productivity, reduce mistakes and I believe at some point bust creativity.

When discussing AI limitations with clients, it’s crucial to set clear expectations by emphasizing that AI, while powerful, is not a one-size-fits-all solution. AI excels in automating tasks, processing data at scale, and providing predictive insights, but it also has boundaries, such as understanding context, handling nuance, and offering emotional intelligence. By emphasizing that AI complements human expertise rather than replaces it, clients can appreciate the technology's potential while remaining grounded in its practical limitations. This balanced approach fosters trust and encourages long-term collaboration.

Be straight-up, no sugar-coating. Start by hitting them with the truth: AI is powerful, but it’s not a magic wand. Let them know it’s only as good as the data it’s fed and the goals it’s set. Then, paint a real-world picture—give examples where AI crushed it and where it flopped. That way, they get the full scope without all the hype. Next, flip the convo—ask them what they want AI to do and then tell them exactly what’s realistic. It’s all about getting them excited, but grounded. AI is amazing when used right, but you’ve got to set those expectations early so they’re not dreaming up a sci-fi future tomorrow.

? A chave n?o está em explicar?o que?a IA faz, mas em articular?“what does it mean“ para o cliente. ? Elabore uma conversa que comece assim: ?Antes de falarmos sobre algoritmos, vamos falar sobre seus objetivos. O que você realmente espera alcan?ar? Qual o impacto que essa 'IA mágica' precisa ter em seu negócio?? ? Ao focar nos resultados desejados – aumento de receita, redu??o de custos, melhoria da experiência do cliente – a IA se torna uma?ferramenta para atingir um objetivo, n?o um objetivo em si. #ai #ia
