Agile is mindset AND methodology. Ensure you're prepared with the following: 1. Knowledgeable of Agile principles (ex: customer focus and continuous delivery) 2. Knowledgeable of Agile methodologies the company utilizes as well as other common methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban Some due diligence goes a long way! Remember to focus on the methodology/ framework and not how things were done in your previous organization as many companies do things differently. Staying true to the source material is your best bet and adapting as necessary once you're in!

Having one or other certification helps you to know basics and concepts of Agile theoretically. Beyond that if you have experience working within Agile team makes a big difference. Agile way of working can look different in different business context, projects but fundamentally it is same. Having meetings at cadence to review the progress, more feedback loops, adapting as per changing business demand and market conditions stands at the core. You should have stories from your experience which highlights how being agile helped teams succeed and achieve greater heights.

"What is the difference between Scrum and Kanban?" would make the list of entry questions to assess an interviewee's understanding of Agile methodologies. Your answer should land somewhere around timeboxing, visualizing flow, and the times in the project lifecycle to demonstrate system demo.

How are teams structured within the organization? Are they cross-functional? Can you provide insights into how projects are organized and managed in an Agile environment? How is team performance measured and evaluated in Agile projects? What metrics or KPIs do you use to assess the quality of deliverables and the effectiveness of testing efforts? How is communication and collaboration facilitated between Agile teams, stakeholders, customers, and end-users? Can you share examples of how feedback from customers and users is incorporated into the development process?

It's important to remember that interviews are not one sided. Be proactive in learning about the team you may possibly join! Some example questions to get you started are: 1. Can you describe your team's typical sprint cycle and how backlog items are prioritized? 2. What tools or techniques do you use to ensure clear communication across all Agile roles (Product Owner, Scrum Master, Developers)? 3. How does your team handle unexpected changes or roadblocks during a sprint? These will help you identify their specific agile approach, team dynamic and potentially where you can highlight your experience or skills to further market yourself to the interviewer.
