A simple advocacy such as community waste segregation program, clean the sea program or maybe tree planting program. All advocacies illicit attention from concerned parties who carries the same passion. Thus, initiating leadership of advocacies in the areas of your liking can bring forth a rewarding career. Helping the environment is something worthy to do. Becoming a leader in this endeavor will garner respect since these types of programs provides long term impact to better the community, the country and the planet itself. Where else can you see a sense of fulfillment?

I have found ot helpful to follow drivers for ESG as Environment, Sosial issues and Corporate Governance is an imperative for responsible investing. The drivers can be found with Securities Commission and Bursa Malaysia as requirements for Public Listed Companies to incorporate.

People with MISSIONARY ZEAL should be identified by the CSR oriented organisations. Those organisations should make use of these Missionary zeal people, the processes as specified by them and facilitate the processes to meet the outcomes. As such, such missionary zeal people should not identify their role as a CAREER. Then only, the SYSTEMS will facilitate the SUSTAINABILITY.

One thing I have found to be helpful is to sign up for a course in Sustainability or ESG. There are good online courses available. Also, sustainability is a vast theme, and you must slowly increase your awareness so as to narrow down your scope for gaining expertise in the areas you are really passionate about.
